Wood finishing services for every project
Your home should reflect your style. We offer a full range of cabinet and wood finishing services — from a clean color change to custom cabinetry built from scratch — each finished to the same exacting standard.

Cabinet Refinishing
Bring tired, dated, or worn cabinets back to life without the cost and disruption of a full replacement.
We strip, repair, and re-coat your existing cabinetry with a durable, factory-grade finish. Refinishing keeps the boxes and doors you already own and gives them a surface that looks and feels new — at a fraction of the price of new cabinets.

Cabinet Painting
A clean, modern color change with a smooth, sprayed finish — no brush marks, no roller texture.
Cabinet painting is the fastest way to transform a kitchen. We spray-apply durable waterborne and catalyzed finishes in any color, including two-tone islands and accent cabinetry, for a result that holds up to daily use.

Cabinet Refacing
New doors, drawer fronts, and surfaces over your existing cabinet boxes — a true new look for less.
Refacing replaces the visible parts of your cabinetry — doors, drawer fronts, and exposed panels — while reusing the structurally sound boxes. It is the middle ground between refinishing and full replacement.

Custom Carpentry
New cabinetry, built-ins, mantels, and millwork crafted in our shop to match your space.
Our woodworking department builds custom cabinetry and millwork to order. Whether you need a new island, a built-in, a mantel, or trim to match an existing finish, we design, build, and finish it under one roof.

Touch-Ups & Repairs
Discreet repairs to chips, scratches, water damage, and worn edges on finished woodwork.
Not every project needs a full refinish. We color-match and repair damaged areas on cabinets, furniture, handrails, and trim so the fix disappears into the surrounding finish.

Cabinet finishing FAQs
How long does cabinet refinishing take?
Most kitchen cabinet refinishing projects take one to two weeks in our shop, depending on size, the finish chosen, and current schedule. We give you a firm timeline with your written estimate.
Is refinishing cheaper than replacing cabinets?
Yes. Refinishing or painting your existing cabinets typically costs a fraction of new cabinetry because you keep the boxes and doors you already own. Refacing sits in between for a more dramatic change.
Do you finish cabinets on-site or in your shop?
Most finishing is done in our Loveland shop, where we control dust, temperature, and humidity for a flawless, durable result. We handle on-site touch-ups and repairs as needed.
What areas do you serve?
Exquisite Finishing serves Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley, Berthoud, Windsor, and the surrounding Northern Colorado communities.
Do you work with contractors and woodworkers?
Yes. We provide contract wood finishing for cabinet makers, custom furniture makers, and remodeling contractors, with volume pricing and production-friendly turnaround. See our Contract Services page.
